Role Purpose:

You will join the team in the National Underwriting Centre (NUC) in delivering a high-quality service to our underwriters and brokers whilst practicing and developing technical capability and broader business skills in the Insurance Industry.

This is a key role created to support the Commercial Master Package team in line with Chubbs ambitious growth plans across the UKI and Mid-Market Practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for the underwriting of renewal package and monoline business consisting of UKI and Multinational Property Casualty and Global Terrorism

Key Responsibilities:

  • Underwriting and processing of renewable Mono Property and Package business up to premium of $250000 in line with our underwriting appetite authority limits and business plan
  • Liaison with and participation at meetings with brokers clients and internal stakeholders face to face and virtually
  • Navigating our Global Network in the placement of Multinational Programmes
  • To meet company standards in respect of policy documentation timeframe for quoting new and renewal business and compliance issues.
  • To work within the framework of the Chubb Code of Conduct Compliance policies Peer Review and within the framework of the protocols established by the Company


Qualifications
  • Ideally 3 years experience in the insurance market is required together with a desire to develop your Property & Casualty knowledge in a fast-paced environment
  • You will need to demonstrate a practical and common-sense approach to dealing with differing situations and an ability to tackle problems often against tight timeframes
  • Interest in Multinational programs
  • Minimum A level standard.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office.
  • Expected to undertake on the job training. This may involve working in other Chubb offices
  • Keen to embark on or working towards CII qualifications
