We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Greenwich to assist with the appointment of a Senior Parking Projects Manager on a 1.5-month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 376.58 - 474.00 per Day
Summary:
The Royal Borough of Greenwich is seeking an experienced Senior Parking Projects Manager to lead manage and deliver a portfolio of complex parking and traffic-related projects. The successful candidate will provide strategic oversight financial management and technical expertise with a focus on designing coordinating and evaluating Controlled Parking Zones (CPZs) and related infrastructure projects. Expert-level proficiency in CAD and GIS systems is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of parking projects on time and within budget including CPZs and other parking infrastructure schemes.
- Identify funding opportunities and manage project governance and financial reporting.
- Use CAD and GIS systems to expert level for mapping planning and reporting.
- Provide technical specifications Conditions of Contract Bills of Quantities and Schedules of Rates.
- Line manage and support staff and contractors driving a culture of performance flexibility and quality service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Educated to degree level or an appropriate technical qualification with significant experience in parking/highways engineering.
- Relevant project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2 Microsoft Project).
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in:
- Designing and delivering CPZ schemes.
- Leading multi-disciplinary teams and contractors.
- Fulfilling Principal Designer duties under CDM (2015).
- Managing budgets risks and performance reporting.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and GIS tools (essential).
