Position: Shipping/Receiving Supervisor
Location: 10757 N Dual St. Baton Rouge LA 70814
Schedule: Monday through Friday - Full-Time 40/hours
Pay: Starting at $16.00/hour (Depending on Experience) with 90 Day Evaluation & Pay Rate Change

Summary
Glaz-Tech is looking to fill the position of a Shipping/Receiving Supervisor. We are looking for a responsible adaptable and selfdriven individual looking to grow in the manufacturing industry. The job functions include handling packaging and loading/unloading glass panes that will be produced into dual pane windows shower doors table tops mirrors etc.
Responsibilities may include:
- Manage all receiving and loading operations including scheduling of deliveries unloading/loading of vehicles and maintaining route organization.
- Ensure that all incoming shipments are accurately and promptly processed
- Monitor route efficiency with emphasis on load value route length and frequency
- Supervise and train receiving and loading staff
- Monitor the accuracy of all receiving and shipping records including inventory and stock levels
- Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment
- Identify and resolve receiving shipping and inventory discrepancies
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth and accurate operations
- Oversight of vehicles maintaining proper documentation and preventative maintenance schedules
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize receiving processes
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in receiving and inventory management
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures and equipment
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to safely lift 50-75 pounds
- Must be able to read a tape measure down to 1/8
- Ability to physically stand for 8 hours per day
- Ability to complete simple computer task
- Excellent communication organizational and problem-solving skills and ability to communicate in English
- Background Check/Drug Screen
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Authorized to work in the US
