JOB TITLE: Shipping and Receiving Assistant
LOCATION: Ventura CA
PAY RATE: Up to $20.75/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary:
-
Performs a mix of manual and clerical duties related to shipping and receiving often based out of a central warehouse.

Tracking logging verifying and reporting shipments using a computer system and following established shipping procedures and transportation schedules.

Receive incoming materials and prepare outgoing shipments
-
Pack and unpack items such as finished goods raw materials parts and supplies
-
Verify quantity weight and item identification
-
Log receipts and process related documents (freight bills packing slips bills of lading)

Post shipping charges and route materials to the correct destination
Requirements:
-
High School Diploma or GED
-
Must wear steel-toe safety shoes
-
Ability to follow detailed shipping procedures and use computer systems for documentation

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
