Job Opportunity:
Fraser is seeking a Patient Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join our Revenue Cycle Department. In this role you will handle phone inquiries and follow-up activities on patient accounts to ensure accurate and timely payment processing.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Reviews and accurately reconciles patient accounts through the following activities: Processing refunds billing corrections and monitoring and responding to billing denials in a timely manner.
- Identifies monitors and recommends resolutions to potential issues arising from accounts receivables.
- Pursues payments from third party carriers and patients.
- Sets up financial agreements with patients/families.
- Maintains a close collaboration with the Accounting Department. Assists with resolving discrepancies on the Deposit Spreadsheet.
- Collaboratively analyze client accounts and aged-receivables.
- Contacts patientsfamilies to obtain accurate insurance information and notifies revenue cycle team members as necessary.
- Applies payments and write-off amounts to client

Location Schedule & Pay:
- Bloomington Minnesota / Hybrid (coming into the office once per week)
- Monday through Friday during standard business hours
The starting pay range for this role is $20.00 to $24.00 an hour depending on qualifications.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma in related field such as medical coding/billing accounting or health information preferred.
- 2-3 years of healthcare collections/customer service or medical claims experience preferred.
- Insurance billing/health care experience required. Previous experience working 3rd party carriers for rehabilitative mental health and assessment services preferred.
