Step into the role of our Stevedore Shift Superintendent for TSI and lead our team to new levels of success! In this position you will assist in overseeing vessel loading operations while ensuring strict adherence to company policies and safety protocols. Work closely with grain elevator staff to ensure safe and efficient loading a wide variety of Americas grains and grain byproducts across ADMs 4 export operations. Job Duties
Oversee and manage stevedore teams during vessel loading operations.
Ensure all cargo handling activities are performed safely efficiently and in compliance with company policies port regulations and industry standards.
Conduct pre-shift briefings to provide teams with clear instructions safety initiatives and operational objectives.
Monitor the use and condition of equipment ensuring proper handling maintenance and availability of tools and machinery required for cargo operations.
Train mentor and assess stevedoring staff to ensure they meet performance and safety standards.
Assist in scheduling of operations for the hourly staff
Perform daily facility walkthroughs
Perform daily/weekly/monthly inspections and document results on computer-based programs
Able to work in Ocean-going Vessel Cargo Holds and around bodies of water
Ensure adherence to all environmental safety and health regulations.
Additional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesJob Requirements
Proven leadership skills (2 years experience)
Good written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Outlook Excel Word
Must have high school diploma or equivalent ***
2 years experience in maritime logistics terminal operations or related industry
Must have or be able to acquire a TWIC Card**
Must have a valid Drivers License
Must be in good physical condition and be able to lift 50 pounds very hands-on and involves working in extreme conditions
Ability to work under pressure think on your feet flexibility to switch gears as needed strategize and implement solutions as problems arise.
Should be open to travelling within a 20-mile radius as needed.
Schedule: MondayFriday with an on-call schedule commencing after training.
Hours: 7:00 AM5:00 PM with potential extensions based on business needs.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location job-related knowledge skills and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
If hired employees will be in an at-will position and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time including for reasons related to individual performance Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
The pay range for this position is expected to be between:
$60300.00 - $110400.00
