Job Description

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW

Lquipe de la division FP&A a pour mission dassurer le contrle des oprations et des investissements dans les rgions canadiennes (Est et Ouest) et les fonctions corporatives de la division. A partir daujourdhui lanne de transition du modle NAM au modle Airgas implique galement une comprhension globale des activits canadiennes y compris la production et la distribution gres par AMG.
Le Canada tant galement une entit juridique lquipe de la division FP&A est galement en charge du reporting du Canada dans IRIS et plus particulirement de tout ce qui concerne les ventes (M-00-SA) ainsi que dautres analyses - comme OIVA - et les exceptionnels (M-02).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial analysis and relevant information to support Canada performance and strategic decisions.

  • Coordination with Head Office Airgas and Accounting teams to prepare and consolidate results.

  • Prepare and analyze monthly / quarterly / semestrial and yearly Canadian performance: P&L Sales & Volumes OIVA Investments Headcount Safety & Reliability results.

  • Work on the ERP change (move from Oracle to SAP)

  • Develop analytical tools to monitor key financial indicators as needed.

  • Understand trend deviations (e.g. cost increases activity vs market).

  • Assist in the Target Guidance and Rolling Forecast/ Reforecast processes.

  • Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and presentations; assist in special projects as needed.

  • Drive process improvements.

  • Completes the monthly quarterly and annual surveys required by Statistics Canada for AL Canada.

  • Cooperation with his/her team and multifunctional teams to continuously improve work processes.

  • Responsible for Airgas new KPIs implementation and maintenance: DRIVE CES ..

  • Protect operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.

Required Education & Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting finance business or engineering.

  • 3 years of relevant work experience; accounting or finance experience a plus.

  • Curious and rigorous.

  • Ability to manipulate financial figures and give them a sense is a must.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; problem solving capabilities and synthetic thinking.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • High level of initiative and desire to continuously improve process and performance.

  • Must possess the energy and drive to execute under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Extremely proficient with Google tools - GSheets - knowledge of PowerBI corporate tools is a plus.

  • Committing to ALs Performance and Responsibility.

  • Global Industrial Gases market understanding.

  • Team player.
