Job Description

HJ Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Fiscal Analyst to join the team supporting the State Opioid Response (SOR) grant program. This role is critical in maintaining fiscal compliance reporting and analysis within a behavioral health setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor financial aspects of the grant and related behavioral health funding streams.

  • Prepare detailed budget reports expenditure tracking and fiscal forecasts.

  • Analyze financial data and trends to support program and policy decisions.

  • Ensure compliance with federal and state fiscal regulations and reporting requirements.

  • Collaborate with program managers to develop and manage budgets and contracts.

  • Assist with audits fiscal monitoring visits and other grant-related reporting activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Public Administration or a related field.

  • Minimum of 35 years of experience in fiscal analysis budget development or grants management.

  • Strong proficiency in Excel and financial management systems.

  • Knowledge of public sector or healthcare finance preferred.

  • Excellent attention to detail documentation and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters degree or CPA a plus.

  • Experience with behavioral health or human services grants.

  • Familiarity with federal and state grant compliance procedures.
