The Europe Finance team plays a key role in shaping strategy and performance across France Italy and Canada by turning data into actionable insights.

As a Senior Performance Business Manager (Fixed Term) you will lead the performance narrative for France and Italy translating operational data into strategic insights forecasts and growth opportunities. Your work will inform business reviews and forecasting helping unlock value for customers and drive sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and refine core financial and business metrics for eBays French Italian and Canadian markets.

  • Lead recurring business performance reporting and ensure collaborator alignment.

  • Diagnose performance shifts through deep-dive analytics; assess impact of external and internal drivers.

  • Develop and maintain forecasting and scenario models for revenue and GMV.

  • Translate analytical findings into compelling executive-level narratives and visualizations.

  • Design scalable automated reporting processes and champion sophisticated analytical tools.

  • Collaborate closely with regional teams and analytics partners to ensure cohesive performance insights.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience in Business Economics Engineering or related field (MBA a plus).

  • 5 years in finance or strategy roles; 2 years in performance or analytics functions.

  • Proficient in SQL Excel/Sheets; experience with BI tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI Looker) valued.

  • Strong modeling skills and ability to inform strategic investment decisions.

  • Excellent communication and storytelling capabilities for senior audiences.

  • Proven cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.

  • Curiosity about AI-driven analytical tools and a passion for continuous improvement.
