About GRIP:

Global Relay is an innovative business and this extends to its approach in developing highly engaging and informative content services for its prospects customers partners and which is an acronym for Global Relay Intelligence & Practice was launched in early 2023 is a product in its own right and will be a new revenue line in the near functions with a high degree of editorial autonomy has its own team and identity and being fully supported by Global Relay and its founder is not held back by the usual foundational obstructions that start-ups have to put in place such as resource infrastructure capital and premises. GRIP delivers a modern and practical streamed content service that focuses on informing the C-suite on essential developments news and intelligence to enable them to conduct their roles with speed confidence and precision. The GRIP founding team has considerable experience in this area and has a strong track-record in meeting its business objectives.

Your role:

With direction from senior GRIP staff you will research source and create content for publication and/or broadcasting for our specialist information service. You will craft and deliver content that appeals to informs and stimulates a professional audience. You will be responsible for the expansion of our content coverage of Scandinavia the Baltics and the EU more generally.

You will support the Director Content and Community in all relevant project work while collaborating directly with a friendly and experienced team based in London and NYC. Because you will be GRIPs sole team member and our ambassador in Stockholm high levels of motivation and the ability to work independently are both critical. This on-site role reports to the Director Content and Community in London and is based in Stockholm. Although you will be required in the office full time significant flexibility to meet with sources identify leads and contributors and attend events outside of the office will be offered.

Your job:

  • Carry out independent research and write timely informative and insightful articles on key subject areas covered by GRIP (compliance regulation and technology) with a specific focus on ongoing developments in Scandinavia and the EU
  • Develop leads and contacts and maintain close relationships with our professional community in Sweden Scandinavia and the EU
  • Assist with the creation of podcasts for GRIP on a variety of topics pertinent to a global compliance audience
  • Assist with all ongoing projects including research reports our proprietary rules navigator and other assets and functionality being developed
  • Ensure that content published out of the Stockholm office meets the high standards expected by a sophisticated and demanding global professional audience
  • Work closely with the local sales and marketing team as required
  • Help Stockholm office colleagues in preparing for and conducting events for clients and prospects within the corporate and regulatory arenas
  • Represent GRIP and GR as required at internal and external corporate events as well as conferences
  • Adhere to GR policy and legal and contractual guidelines

About you:

  • Interest in compliance regulatory affairs technology and the legal ecosystem
  • Ability to listen to and build rapport with contacts leads and sources
  • Demonstrable ability to produce interesting content for a specialist audience
  • A track record of independently generating content that differentiates a publication
  • Experience of working autonomously
  • Demonstrable research and writing experience and skills set
  • Affinity for technology systems and processes
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Logical thinker with excellent organisational skills
  • Natural curiosity and desire to keep learning
  • Principled ethical approach to reporting and pride in ones work
  • High levels of motivation and energy
  • Tenacity determination integrity and resilience

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of professional work experience as a reporter technical writer or researcher
  • Bachelors Degree in relevant discipline
