We believe each child is a gift from God and strive to foster their growth in a warm inclusive and faith-filled SummaryThe Toddler/Preschool Educator is a vital member of our teaching team responsible for supporting the development safety and well-being of children ages 15 months to 5.11 years. This educator designs and implements developmentally appropriate learning experiences grounded in faith best practices and the Massachusetts Early Learning Guidelines. The educator fosters strong relationships with children families and colleagues in support of our centers mission and ResponsibilitiesFaith-Inspired Teaching & LearningIntegrate Catholic values such as kindness compassion and gratitude into daily routines and childrens natural curiosity and wonder as gifts from God encouraging a sense of respect for self others and in prayer religious celebrations and Christian service projects as appropriate for the age & InstructionPlan and implement daily learning activities that promote growth across all domains: language literacy cognitive physical social-emotional and spiritual evidence-based curriculum frameworks (e.g. Lillio Creative Curriculum TS GOLD) aligned with the Massachusetts Guidelines for Preschool Learning Experiences and the Infant/Toddler lessons to meet the diverse needs of learners including English Learners and children with special needs or developmental authentic assessments to document and inform each childs developmental Environment & Child SafetyMaintain a clean safe engaging and developmentally appropriate learning environment aligned with EEC regulations and NAEYC best constant and active supervision; adhere to licensing ratios and center health and safety protocols including sanitation emergency drills and documentation of positive behavior through modeling social-emotional coaching and a consistent respectful EngagementCommunicate with families in a welcoming respectful and professional manner through daily updates newsletters and parent-teacher parents as the childs first teacher; partner with them to support their childs learning and confidentiality and cultural sensitivity at all & Team CollaborationParticipate actively in team meetings ongoing professional development and staff prayer/reflection EEC and center policies; complete required trainings including First Aid/CPR Mandated Reporter and continuing education with colleagues to support curriculum planning child transitions and shared classroom initiative flexibility and a growth mindset in a fast-growing Certification as a Toddler and/or Preschool Teacher (required).Associates or bachelors degree in early childhood education or a related field (preferred).Minimum 9 months of experience working with young children in a group care of Massachusetts EEC regulations early learning standards and developmentally appropriate for early childhood education within a faith-based learning communication observation and teamwork and Other RequirementsAbility to lift and carry children up to 40 lbs and engage in floor-based and outdoor complete all background record checks per EEC in all-center events including family nights feast day celebrations and faith-based activities.
