Job Description
The City of OFallon MO is looking to hire a knowledgeable and dependable Seasonal Landscape Worker - Level 2. Are you looking for a position where youll be working each day in the beautiful city grounds of OFallon Our Seasonal Landscape Workers-Level 2 earn competitive pay of $18.55 - $20.05 (top of grade) hourly. The expected starting salary for this position is $18.55; applicants with prior experience and qualifications may earn more.
As part of our Parks Department you will be responsible for assisting in the beautification and maintenance of City streets parks and City facilities as directed by Landscape Division staff. Generally your schedule will be Monday Friday from 7 am to 3:30.
As a Seasonal Landscape Worker - Level 2 your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Regularly mowing municipal properties on a set weekly schedule
- Assisting with responsibilities associated with Landscaping which may include mulching planting mower and cleaning up shrubs and litter
Were looking for someone who is comfortable operating motorized equipment such as pick up trucks zero turn mowers string trimmers blowers and have the ability to safely tow a 20 trailer through traffic. This person should be someone with previous mowing experience and who can be relied upon to coordinate and supervise a small crew.

Requirements include:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- The ability to lift and carry 50 pounds 100 feet
- The ability to stand for extended periods of time
- The ability to withstand weather conditions such as heat cold rain snow etc.
- Possess a valid Missouri drivers license
- Have the ability to work Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 3:30 pm
