Job Description: Director II Clinical Engineering
Job Type: Full-time
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the clinical engineering operations and ensure compliance with the industry standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement strategies for the management and maintenance of medical equipment and technology.
- Lead a team of clinical engineers providing guidance and support in their daily activities.
- Monitor budgetary allocations for department activities and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Facilitate training programs for clinical staff on the appropriate use and maintenance of medical equipment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess their technology needs and provide solutions accordingly.
- Conduct regular evaluations of equipment performance and implement necessary upgrades or replacements.
- Act as the primary liaison between clinical departments and the technical staff.
- Ensure that all clinical engineering practices remain current with medical technology advances.
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in clinical engineering or a related field.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient with relevant software and technology systems used in clinical settings.
Desired Experience:
- Experience in a leadership role within clinical engineering is preferred.
- Background in healthcare technology management is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience in budget management and cost-reduction strategies.
