Job Description

Job Description: Director II Clinical Engineering

Job Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the clinical engineering operations and ensure compliance with the industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategies for the management and maintenance of medical equipment and technology.
  • Lead a team of clinical engineers providing guidance and support in their daily activities.
  • Monitor budgetary allocations for department activities and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Facilitate training programs for clinical staff on the appropriate use and maintenance of medical equipment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess their technology needs and provide solutions accordingly.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of equipment performance and implement necessary upgrades or replacements.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clinical departments and the technical staff.
  • Ensure that all clinical engineering practices remain current with medical technology advances.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in clinical engineering or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient with relevant software and technology systems used in clinical settings.

Desired Experience:

  • Experience in a leadership role within clinical engineering is preferred.
  • Background in healthcare technology management is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience in budget management and cost-reduction strategies.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $91000 - $140000 annually.
