We are recruiting for a Recovery Support Worker role in our Thornbury Road complex needs hostel where you will be part of a team providing 24 hour support to 16 clients at the start of their journey with us supporting them towards greater independence. This role involves shift work including evenings and weekends.
In the role of Recovery Support Worker you will be working withour clients on their road to recovery aiding clients to gain the necessary skills to move on from our services and into suitable accommodation. You will assist a caseload of clients supportingthem to maintain independence in the community build on their skills for employment manage their own health needs and look towards a brighter future. You will also have some housing management responsibilities as part of ensuring we deliver safe high quality services.
Please note due to the needs of all our services there is a requirement to work a shift rota so flexibility is required. This will include some weekends and bank holidays and the role will be service based with no home working.
