Job Description
LK Jordan is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver for a local supply distributor in NE San Antonio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. As a Delivery Driver you will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring smooth operations. Schedule is Monday- Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm. Pay rate is $19 hourly!
Duties:
Safely operate delivery vehicles including vans and trucks to transport goods to designated locations.
Load and unload products ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transport.
Follow designated routes for efficient delivery while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
Provide exceptional customer service by interacting positively with clients upon delivery.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries including tracking shipments and obtaining signatures when required.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
Assist in warehouse operations as needed including using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Handle heavy lifting tasks as necessary ensuring proper lifting techniques are followed.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Delivery Driver required
Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and route driving preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Experience in warehouse operations or courier services is a plus.
Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
A valid drivers license is required.
Completion of a background check drug screen and MVR check.
