Job Description Summary

The Customer Fulfilment Co-ordinator will contribute to the success of the Aviation Supply Chain business by providing a high standard of administrative support to both Internal and external customers.

This will be achieved by acting as a key resource to partner with customers workshops overseas service providers as well as local teams to provide optimal outcomes for our customers. This role may also include selected support of logistics team functions when/if required.

GE Aerospace in Australia has sites in Brisbane Newcastle Richmond Bundamba and Matraville. Role Overview:

  • Adherence to both regulatory compliance and GE policies and procedures
  • Effective ability to communicate both written and verbally across communication channels such as in person e-mail phone live chat etc.
  • As key point of contact you will be responsible for delivering a high standard of support to our global customer base. Working independently or collaboratively to develop problem solving solutions to meet the customer requirements.
  • Preparation of quotes for customers
  • Escalation of customer issues to appropriate areas of business to assist with meeting business targets and avoid delays to the customer.
  • Preparation and monitoring of reports for communication to our global customers and/or management.
  • Maintenance of customer records
  • Other duties as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Previous Customer service experience essential.
  • Ability to identify areas for improvement and formulate or contribute to a solution.
  • Intermediate level excel and computer skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and a positive attitude is essential.
  • Ability to work as part of a team or autonomously and use initiative.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security clearance if required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the Aviation industry and terminology.
  • Experience working in a Global corporate environment.
  • Flexibility around work hours
  • Previous exposure Lean concepts.
