Job Description

Job Summary
Consistent with the Universitys mission the Assistant Hall Director ( AHD ) position provides hall leadership in the Universitys residence halls and reside in the residence halls with University of Portland students. AHDs invest in the lives of students and are leaders in the hall community through a culture of presence and role modeling. AHDs serve a key role in fostering community within the residence halls inspired and informed by the Universitys Catholic and Holy Cross tradition of residentiality. This position requires the ability to live full-time in the assigned University residence hall as an individual occupant. This position offers full tuition remission and AHDs are expected to be actively pursuing and enrolled in a graduate degree program. This position provides a furnished apartment within the assigned residence hall with included utilities and amenities (internet laundry) as well as an academic-year meal plan cell phone stipend from August-May parking pass and professional development. This position will serve Villa Maria Hall a male-facing residence hall.
