Performs specialized recreation work in providing leisure programs sports and other recreational activities for various ages and abilities individuals and groups. Assists a Recreation Supervisor in operating a community center and overall organization and delivery of general recreational activities leagues special events clinics and seasonal programs. Work includes maintaining log/records collection of membership and/or rental fees preparing financial and attendance reports and opening/closing the facility. Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Recreation supervisor and reviewed while in progress and upon completion by observation and through reports submitted. Some positions may require working outdoors and the employee may occasionally be exposed to extreme heat and insects. Required to work evenings and weekends. Oversee Middle school Programming and Recruiting.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma/G.E.D. Certificate and one (1) year of experience in the recreation field required; or an equivalent combination of education training and experience. A valid Florida Drivers License required. Polygraph required.
