Temporary HR & Recruitment Officer (69 Months) Immediate Start
York Based Hybrid (23 Days in Office)
17.95 per hour
MondayFriday 9am5pm
Were looking for a proactive and capable HR & Recruitment professional to join a busy People team on a temporary basis for an initial 69 months. This role is based in York with hybrid working (23 days per week in the office). Youll be supporting a variety of HR and recruitment activities and working closely with colleagues across the People Team.
This is a hands-on varied role for someone confident jumping in and supporting wherever needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR administration: data input letter and contract drafting mailbox management and responding to general HR queries
- Onboarding support including pre-employment checks and vetting
- Recruitment admin: screening CVs booking interviews and supporting hiring managers
- Managing recruitment data and generating reports
- General data analysis and support with ad hoc HR projects
What Were Looking For:
- HR generalist experience with confidence managing multiple priorities
- Strong data handling and reporting skills
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- A dependable self-starter who can work with minimal supervision
- CIPD qualification is a bonus but not essential
