Gr New Bedford Regional Voc Tech High School
FIELD HOUSE SECURITY DETAIL - 2 positions
The Field House Security Detail is responsible for maintaining a safe secure and orderly environment in the field house during after-school athletics and strength & conditioning sessions. The role focuses on controlling access to the facility ensuring appropriate student use and performing regular security checks.
TIME FRAME/COMPENSATION
- This position will be for 90 hours of field house security coverage
- After school - 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.
- Start date: November 1st
- End date: March 12th
- $43 per hour
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties of this position include the following. Employees in this position perform some or all of the following tasks.
Other duties may be assigned in addition to the duties below:
- Monitor and enforce access control ensuring that only students actively involved in athletics or strength & conditioning sessions are permitted in the field house.
- Conduct regular security checks of locker rooms hallways and other community spaces within the field house to deter unauthorized use or inappropriate behavior.
- Ensure all doors and exterior access points are properly secured and locked during and at the conclusion of the shift.
- Maintain a visible and approachable presence to promote a safe environment for students and
