Job Description
Position: AFSIM Analyst (Mid to Senior Level)
Location: Quantico VA
Overview: Group W Inc. an employee-owned company is seeking an experienced and resourceful AFSIM (Advanced Framework for Simulation Integration and Modeling) Analyst to perform analysis modeling and simulation of US military planning activities. The successful individual should be proficient with mission and engagement-level models simulations and other operations research techniques.
Requirements:
- Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university in physics mathematics engineering or an applied science discipline.
- 2 years experience with AFSIM
Preferred:
- 5 years experience performing campaign/mission modeling and analysis using models such as EADSIM AFSIM COMBAT XXI or SUPRESSOR
- Prior military experience or analysis conducted at the theater or joint task force level conducting planning or performing operational assessments
- Familiarity with Defense Planning Scenarios
Responsibilities:
- Employ in-depth knowledge of modeling/operations research techniques to inform a variety of analyses and wargames
- Applies skills to solve highly complex problems using statistical analysis parametric and non-parametric analysis computer modeling simulation and regression analysis
- Serves as an analyst responsible for developing and executing analytical models and methods that support warfighting analyses at the engagement level
- Develops and executes mission-level representations and analyses of US allied and adversary forces executing warfighting concepts of operation
- Advises other operations research analysts scientists or engineers on techniques best suited for tasked problems
- Supports pre-and post-wargame analysis using AFSIM

Salary: $110000 to $145000 (compensation depends on level of relevant experience)
