Job Description

As a Remote Documentation Analyst you will be responsible for creating reviewing organizing and maintaining internal and external documentation to support business operations technical systems compliance requirements and knowledge transfer. You will work across departments such as IT legal product HR and compliance to ensure documentation is accurate consistent accessible and aligned with organizational standards.

This role is ideal for professionals who are detail-oriented highly organized and able to translate complex or technical information into clear user-friendly content. You will play a key role in enabling efficiency compliance and knowledge sharing in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Create edit and manage documentation such as standard operating procedures (SOPs) user manuals technical guides process maps training materials and regulatory compliance records

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT HR Legal Product Compliance) to gather requirements and validate content accuracy

Organize and maintain centralized documentation repositories ensuring version control and proper access levels

Standardize documentation formats and enforce style guidelines to ensure clarity readability and consistency

Assist in documentation audits to ensure policies and procedures are up to date and compliant with internal or external standards (e.g. ISO HIPAA GDPR SOX)

Analyze document workflows and recommend improvements to enhance discoverability and usability

Support onboarding and training by providing clear accessible documentation for new employees or system users

Track documentation progress timelines and requests using project management tools (e.g. Asana Jira )

Ensure security and confidentiality of sensitive documentation in line with company policy

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in English Communications Information Systems Library Science Business Administration or a related field

2 years of experience in documentation technical writing knowledge management or business analysis

Strong writing editing and organizational skills with a high attention to detail

Experience with documentation tools such as Confluence SharePoint Notion MadCap Flare or Google Workspace

Familiarity with version control systems and basic information architecture

Ability to understand and document technical or process-heavy content clearly and concisely

Self-motivated and capable of managing documentation projects remotely with minimal supervision.
