Job Description
The marriage and family therapy graduate program in the Department of Human Development and Family Science is currently seeking an Office Coordinator to provide administrative and fiscal support the operations of the marriage and family therapy program and its training clinic the Family Therapy Center (FTC). The Office Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining compliance with program and FTC policies and procedures as well as general office procedures. Duties include facilities and inventory management fiscal operations (e.g. purchasing accounts payable accounts reconciliation etc.) records management student services and assistance with program assessment.
In addition the Office Coordinator will assist with client services at the Family Therapy Center ( These duties include conducting client intakes responding to client communication processing client paperwork assisting with confidential client records and supporting clinic data collection.
Required Qualifications
- Customer service experience preferably in a medical or related environment
- Experience using databases preferably related to patient/ client data
- Experience with confidential records (i.e. HIPAA and FERPA)
- Experience with basic fiscal duties
- Proficiency with MS Office: Word Excel (including formula functions formatting pivot tables)
Preferred Qualifications
- Training or experience with Titanium patient software
- Notary Public
