Position Summary

Support senior demand and supply planner to lead Acros Organics finished goods inventory levels at SMV site in NJ USA. Handle replenishment orders from Geel Belgium and other suppliers as appropriate to ensure inventory availability remains within target parameters. Liaise with customer services and field sales representatives to update customers on anticipated delivery dates when needed. Produce and share reports to back up critical metrics for business performance. Work closely with site operations teams and prioritize product flow to ensure efficient customer experience/happiness.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Apply distribution requirements planning (DRP) tools daily to issue replenishment purchase orders from our manufacturing sites in Geel Belgium and New Jersey.
  • Work with varies customer service teams to ensure smooth material flow between Europe and the US including PO/SO matching.
  • Provide outstanding support to the customer channels group (CCG) by responding promptly to requests.
  • Update field sales and customer service teams within 24 hours regarding product availability and in stock dates when contacted.
  • Collaborate with the US Senior Demand and Supply Planner to plan stocking levels based on projected sales growth from key clients optimizing inventory.
  • Generate and maintain all site supply chain delivery reports and support root cause analysis for variances to targets.
  • Direct onsite operations teams towards key products and sales orders to minimize customer delays.
  • Handle the availability of key products such as those with short shelf lives or those that are difficult to ship to maintain high-quality finished goods.
  • Expedite customer backorders to minimize delivery delays as much as possible.
  • Input master data modifications as needed.
  • Handle limited stock coding to reduce customer lead times.
  • Participate in other projects that apply your skills and knowledge performing additional duties.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

  • HS diploma required Bachelors degree preferred.
  • 2-4 years experience in purchasing and supply chain planning preferred.
  • Member who shows dedication and careful attention to detail.
  • Deep understanding of supply chain replenishment processes and supply planning.
  • Ability to work in a structured manner adhere to standard operating procedures and consistently achieve goals.
  • Excellent communicator comfortable interacting with people at all levels within the company.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Excel and comfortable working with stock management systems.
  • Proactive in identifying and addressing issues.
  • Demonstrates initiative and flexibility.
