Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain automated test suites using Cypress for web applications.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements contribute to test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Perform functional integration regression and end-to-end testing across various environments.
- Ensure adherence to the test pyramid and best practices in test automation and software quality.
- Analyze test results identify and document defects and track them through resolution.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups sprint planning retrospectives) and contribute to continuous delivery pipelines.
- Act as a quality advocate and collaborate with multiple teams to drive improvements in processes tools and standards.
- Manage priorities and tasks efficiently in a demanding and fast-changing environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Test Automation roles.
- Strong proficiency with Cypress and JavaScript/TypeScript test scripting.
- Solid understanding of different types of testing (unit integration system UAT regression exploratory).
- In-depth knowledge of test automation frameworks CI/CD practices and the testing pyramid.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with REST API testing tools (e.g. Postman REST-assured).
- Familiarity with other testing frameworks (e.g. Playwright Selenium).
- Exposure to performance or load testing tools is a plus.
- Background in a DevOps or Continuous Testing environment.
