Marsh is seeking highly skilled candidates to join our Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions (PEMA) Practice in Sydney. As a Senior Transactional Risk Broker you will play a pivotal role in supporting clients through M&A insurance solutions with a focus on warranties and indemnities (W&I) insurance. This commercially focused position offers the opportunity to lead impactful M&A projects within a supportive and collaborative team environment.
Our Transactional Risk practice within PEMA boasts a strong track record of supporting clients through interesting and complex M&A transactions worldwide delivering customized M&A insurance solutions for high-profile deals. We will count on you to:
- Provide strategic advice on insurance solutions for M&A transactions.
- Manage and take ownership of the policy and coverage negotiation process to develop enhanced and bespoke policy wordings to ensure the clients commercial objectives are achieved.
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with the local M&A community.
- Act as the primary contact for clients throughout the M&A process ensuring clear communication and exceptional service.
- Take on a critical project management role to ensure successful outcomes.
- Mentor and guide junior brokers fostering their professional growth.
What you need to have:
- M&A experience of 4 years (ideally with a combination of legal and insurance experience).
- Tertiary qualifications in law finance commerce or a related field.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
