Job Description
As a Food Scientist you are tasked with the critical role of researching and developing new food products while also finding ways to improve existing ones. Furthermore you are expected to maintain high standards of quality and safety in all food items ensuring they meet all industry and regulatory standards.
Job PurposeThe purpose of the Food Scientist role is to analyze food composition and study the effects of various processing techniques on food quality. Your work will involve formulating experiments to enhance the flavors textures and nutritional value of our food products. This role aims to develop innovative safe and quality food products for consumers.
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Research and develop new innovative food products.
- Improvement of existing food products.
- Ensure that all food safety and quality standards are met.
- Analyze the composition of food and the effect of processing on its quality.
- Conduct experiments targeted at enhancing the flavor texture and nutritional value of our products.
Qualifications :
- Strong knowledge in research and development of food products.
- Experience in food safety and quality assurance.
- Proficient understanding of food composition analysis.
- Deep understanding of the effects of processing on food quality.
- Experience in flavor texture and nutritional value enhancement.
- Strong understanding of food chemistry.
- Proficient knowledge in microbiology.
- Sound problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
