Amazon is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to be a key member of the Amazon Payments FP&A team. This role will be part of a team providing financial reporting and analytics that will provide our Amazon Payments leadership team with insights to scale and grow the business. Responsibilities include reporting and consolidating financials across the different Payments businesses analyzing P&Ls developing business forecasts and surfacing insights through financial deep dives and analysis projects. A successful candidate will effectively collaborate to solve data problems and implement new reporting solutions.
Primary Responsibilities Include: - Build report and maintain financial metrics for Amazon Payments - Drive automated reporting and analysis tools that are scalable to dive deep across different areas of the business - With Controllership as a priority you identify resolve or provide guidance to resolve data integrity issues. - Participating in short and long-term financial planning
- 3 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience - Bachelors degree in finance accounting business economics or a related analytical field (e.g. engineering math computer science)
- MBA or CPA - Experience in financial modeling P&L management or analysis - Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)
