Job Description
Overview
Establishes clinical practice guidelines to manage and optimize care utilizing an organized approach to performance measurement and improvement. Conducts quality audits and analyzes data pertaining to various clinical functions and departments of the Blank Childrens Pediatric Clinics.

Responsibilities
- Audits clinical documentation for compliance in accordance with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and other payers quality indicators.
- Monitors non-compliance with quality standards; investigates evaluates and identifies opportunities for improvement and provides guidance and counsel to clinic management regarding internal controls.
- Provides education and consultation to the clinical staff including physicians and non physician providers regarding quality and performance improvement.
- Demonstrates initiative to improve quality and customer service by striving to exceed customer expectations.
- Coordinates the development of clinical practice guidelines as directed by the Quality Committee.
- Develops and implements annual Blank Childrens Pediatric Clinics Plan under the direction of the Chair of the Quality Committee and the PMC.
- Provides analytic and auditing support for research projects as approved by the research department and PMC.
- Collects and analyzes data including statistical analysis and submits reports as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Preferred or Specialized
Education:
Bachelor degree in health care related field
Masters degree
Experience:
Minimum 2 years in medical practice environment.
License(s)/Certification(s):
Maintains certification and/or license
Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain certification within three (3) months from date of hire.
Valid drivers license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Writes reads comprehends and speaks fluent English.
Multicultural sensitivity.
Microsoft Office basic computer skills.
Customer/patient focused.
Critical thinking skills using independent judgment in making decisions.
Other:
Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.
