Are you passionate about accounting and eager to enhance your skills while contributing to a dedicated team Our client is looking for an Accounts Payable Analyst to support their AP team in Moncton NB. If you thrive in a fast-paced office environment and have strong attention to detail this may be the perfect fit for you!
Key Responsibilities for the Job:
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and ensure accuracy in payment records
- Analyze discrepancies between invoices and purchase orders and resolve inconsistencies
- Prepare verify and process invoices statements and payment records
- Support comparative analysis for expenses and budget variances
- Summarize and communicate findings to department leaders
Experience & Attributes for Success:
- Post-secondary education in Business Accounting or equivalent combination of experience education and skills
- Previous experience in accounts payable reconciliations or a similar analytical role is an asset
- Strong financial analysis and MS Excel skills
- Bilingualism in French and English is a valuable asset
- Proficiency in computer systems with the ability to quickly learn new software and processes
- Dependable work ethic with a commitment to accuracy and detail
- Collaborative mindset professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills
