Background on Wellbeing Collective
Wellbeing Collective (WBC) is a strategic Unilever global business unit established to capture the growth opportunity in the 140bn global consumer health segment defined by Vitamins Minerals and Supplements (VMS) product category. Our ambition is to build a 5bn business globally; and be a global top 3 player within this space.
As of today our brands include Equilibra in Italy; OLLY SmartyPants Liquid IV Onnit Welly and Nutrafol in the US with 2.3 bn in turnover. We have established a presence in Australia since 2024 now with 6.5m in turnover through Liquid IV. Our ambition is to be 36m in the next 5 years with plans to potentially launch more WBC brands in Australia (i.e. Olly).
Job Description Overview
This role will allow you to join an exciting and entrepreneurial team that is a standalone business unit of Wellbeing Collective Australia reporting to the WBC Supply Chain Manager (APAC). This is a fast-growing business unit with an agile collaborative team with a strong bias for action mindset. Primary responsibility is to lead the end-to-end (E2E) supply chain (SC) operational planning function for WBC Australia. This would primarily include demand supply innovation planning GTM/Customer Operations as well as KPIs management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Integrated Planning:
Translate demand / forecast to supply plan running short term capacity analysis as well as RCCP to determine and mitigate issues with suppliers
Work with Genpact demand planner on ensuring planning tool is reflecting the correct demand outlook
Lead regular connects with sourcing unit(s) to discuss status of supply as well as ongoing operational issues Quality Efficiency / Cost improvement
Close connection between supply and CD team to flag any supply risks ahead of time
Manage planning (demand and supply) constraints with:
a.Historical analysis ensure learnings are identified and if predictions were correct
b.Rolling Reviewing if plans are developing as expected and if any adjustments need to be made
c.Assess any risks to the plan and potential mitigation scenarios
Innovation / NPD work closely with WBC PMO Lead and CD team for smooth & On Time in Full (OTIF) landing of new products & innovation
Work with the WBC Supply Chain team on deploying sourcing network transformation projects; including lead time improvement initiatives
Master data management: maintenance of current SKUs responsible of master data hygiene and perform some activities for new codes creation.
Lead monthly SNOP discussion as SC representative and all other activities building up to SNOP (i.e. ARMs and connect with distributors demand/supply planners)
Work with WBC CM Ops & Capabilities team on LTCP and capabilities improvement at CM
Strong understanding of Kinaxis/Rapid Response planning tool knowledge is preferable and UL SAP system
Work with UL warehouse team and Inventory Controller team to ensure physical/virtual stocks on hand is reconciled at the agreed regular interval period
2. KPIs management:
Inventory Planning & Business Waste Management:
Balance DOH and service KPI to support business growth
Provide weekly reports to internal stakeholders regarding SOH and any supply risks
Report YTG month end-stock forecast; Work with 3PL / agency for weekly inventory & stock report publishing
Lead Business Waste management/governance to develop clearance and action plans for SLOBs with cross functional team (CD Marketing)
Review if targets are being met identifying root causes for gaps and potential mitigation
What You Will Need to Succeed
Experiences & Qualifications
Planning experience in FMCG company of 3-5 years is preferred
Commercially savvy and oriented with strong business mindset and attention for detail is a key attribute
Good communication skills. Ability to work cross functionally and across different cultures is important.
Collaborative constructive positive and open mindset to investigate experiment will be critical for this fast-growing business.
Logical structured thinking for problem solving will be required for day-to-day job
Inquisitive willingness to learn and ability to handle change in fast-paced environment
