Job Description
Reading SpecialistThe Palmer School District is looking to add a literacy intervention specialist to our team that puts our children first. We are committed to providing students with a positive learning environment focused on meeting the needs of all learners. The candidate will work as part of an intervention team. We believe the ideal candidate will be familiar with gathering and analyzing reading data for middle school readers be able to provide instruction in small groups with students and also assist in the planning for the placement of students in intervention cycles. This intervention opportunity will provide students a chance to receive daily remediation/extension on specific tier 2 needs create and act as an extension of our classroom learning environment and offer instruction to students effectively utilizing digital media. We believe the ideal candidate will be an active learner in our school and strive to build a dynamic learning experiences for all our students.
