Senior Software EngineerTITLE: Senior Software Engineer
EMPLOYER: Fiserv Solutions LLC
LOCATION: Milwaukee WI (and various unanticipated locations throughout the US subject to authorization from management)
DUTIES: Design and implement payment gateway integrations for processing thousands of transactions a second. Architect based on new requirements to support new features and rearchitect the existing system. Design and implement RESTful APIs for payment devices. Own the features and components from development through deployment and verication to setting up production monitoring. Perform production support services as part of a regular on call rotation. Conduct future proof payment services through scalability and re-design of key components. Refactor code to be more maintainable and testable. Test drive development and unit testing.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Technology or a related field and 7 years in any job title involving experience working with Java. Prior experience must include the following: 4 years of REST API design or RESTful services; 4 years designing implementing and maintaining complex distributed software systems; 3 years working with RDBMS Oracle or MySQL database; and 2 years working with Spring Boot framework.
