How Youll Add Value
The Manufacturing System Technician (MST) performs functions associated with manufacturing operations including electro-mechanical assembly set-up calibration testing and troubleshooting related to Azenta cryogenic products.
What Youll Do
- Follow technical instructions and technical terms to assemble sub-assemblies including the integration of these sub-assemblies into more complex systems end products
- Uses programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products instruments or equipment.
- Determines or may assist in developing methods and procedures from blueprints drawings and/or diagrams to control or modify the manufacturing process.
- Works occasionally with engineers in conducting experiments.
- May prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
- Higher levels may provide guidance to other non-exempt personnel and may progress to team leader/supervisory roles within the product line.
What you will Bring
- Minimum of 4 years related work experience is required.
- Ability to work within a fast-paced environment and adapt to priority changes at last minute.
- Ability to collaborate and work well with others.
- High attention to detail and quality is a must.
- Familiarity with PCs and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to communicate in an organized and knowledgeable manner delivering clear requests for information demonstrating exibility in prioritizing and completing tasks.
- Candidate must have excellent organizational skills capable of maintaining production throughput requirements.
- Experience working collaboratively both in person and through web-based communication environments.
