WHAT YOULL DO - Incorporate empathy and professionalism in your delivery of excellent patient care.
- Call existing clinical sites to confirm the schedule the day prior.
- Assist clinical staff by calling patients front desk check-in and check-out and rescheduling patients.
- Prepare patients and exam rooms for ultrasound procedures.
- Retrieve patient files and obtain medical information relevant to the ultrasound exam.
- Escort patients and visitors to the exam room.
- Collect height weight blood pressure and other patient vitals.
- Conduct patient intake questionnaire forms.
- Assist medical professionals with patient examinations or procedures.
- Assist in updating and archiving medical records and ultrasound images.
- Clean ultrasound equipment and restock supplies as needed.
- Cover a variety of clinical settings including outreach clinics which may involve extended commute times.
- Other duties assigned by managers.

IS THIS YOU - High school graduate or GED holder
- 1-3 years of experience in customer service or patient care
- Demonstrate strong attributes in using empathy to advocate good patient care
- Strong communicator with excellent customer service skills
- Tech-savvy and can learn new systems and medical devices efficiently and accurately
- Comfortable working in fast-paced technical environments
- Adept in following directions especially when handling sonographic equipment
- Ready to comply with health and safety policies and protocols
- Able to remain calm in emergencies or patient distress
- Comfortable sitting for long periods
- Capable of lifting or moving patients and heavy equipment including those on wheels and in stretchers (up to approximately 500 pounds)
- Good use of self-care strategies to prevent compassion fatigue
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future
BONUS POINTS - Associate or bachelors degree
- 1-3 years of experience in healthcare
- American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) certified
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
- Bilingual: Spanish & English
