Job Description

Additional Position Information:
The University of Akrons Allied Health Department seeks faculty to teach clinical related courses including but not limited to Anatomy & Physiology Medical Terminology Pathology and Pharmacology.
(1) Professional licensure or certification in a clinical discipline is strongly preferred; (2) two or more years of teaching experience in an online environment; (3) experience in instructional design and assessment of teaching and learning; (4) experience teaching in courses that satisfy general education requirements.
1) Masters degree or higher in a clinical (i.e. M.D. D.O. D.C. MSCLS etc.) field and/or biomedical sciences; (2) experience teaching students in the pre-professional or professional health sciences; (3) demonstrated ability to integrate and synthesize basic sciences and clinical concepts across disciplines; (4) experience teaching students pursuing a wide range of health professions majors; (5) experience teaching in a laboratory setting. (6) and other duties as assigned.
