Primary Purpose:
In cooperation with and approval by the Texas Education Agency and the PFE Council Statewide Training Grant coordinate and administer the decentralized ESEA Title I Part A Parent and Family Engagement Statewide Initiative for Texas.

Education/Certification
- Bachelors degree required upon application
- Texas Teaching Certification preferred

Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assists Program Coordinator in event planning and coordination including organizing meetings workshops and other program-related events.
- Assists the coordinator in the creation organization and tracking processes of PFE Initiative projects through licensed performance management software.
- Manages all aspects of participant registration for all PFE Events including but not limited to; registration of participants invoicing collection of registration fees event communication with registrants registration and collections of payment for conference exhibitors/sponsors etc. using both Region 16 ESCWorks platform and/or other platforms contracted through the PFE Initiative.
- Works directly with Region 16 business office staff to organize and monitor the collection of registration fees/funds for all PFE Events.
- Assists Coordinator in the collection analysis and creation of reports of all relevant attendance and training data required for Texas Education Agency.
- Assists the Coordinator in creating conducting and analyzing needs assessment data to assist in developing tools publications training resources and statewide workshops/training (in-person and via online platforms) for all 20 Education Service Centers all Texas School Districts.
- Assists the Coordinator and other PFE Initiative staff in creating publishing and distributing the quarterly parent engagement newsletter.
- Assists the Coordinator in monitoring distributing and answers emails related to federal compliance sent to the PFE shared email address.
- Assists the coordinator and Digital Media Specialist in maintaining the departments distribution lists for emailing and event mass mail.
- Assists the Coordinator in organizing and facilitating work groups of ESC staff from other regions and state initiatives to assist in development and review of training materials and event coordination to build LEA and ESC capacity to meaningfully engage parents.
- Travels frequently as requested by TEA to fulfill PFE Initiative and PFE Council Grant responsibilities.
- Maintains a functioning cell phone and is accessible through this phone as deemed appropriate by the service area director. A functioning cell phone means that it is charged activated messages checked and mailbox emptied regularly.
