Work with the Senior Deployment Engineer and Senior Systems Analyst configure deploy and maintain a US Government on-premises custom software system for analysis of nuclear weapon container-based system runs in Kubernetes and is hybrid Linux and Window system.
This position does allow the ability to work remote 2 days a week but the candidate MUST be able to be on site at Fort Belvoir 3 days a week.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Configure deploy test and administer the Kubernetes container-based solution in unclassified and classified environments.
- Troubleshoot system and configuration issues that impact the system performance and reliability.
- Work with the teams deployment engineer and systems analyst to troubleshoot issues beyond normal system operations.
- Work with the US Governments Information Technology team to deploy and maintain Kubernetes container-based system in the on-premises cloud infrastructure.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree with 4 years of experience or a Masters Degree with 2 years of experience. Additional experience might be considered in lieu of a degree.
- US Citizen with at least a DoD Top Secret clearance and ability to obtain a SCI.
- RedHat Enterprise Linux L1 certification (Linux)
- CompTIA Security
- Windows 2019 Server or Microsoft Server certification
- Deploying managing and debugging containers in a Kubernetes cluster
- Management and troubleshooting of PostgreSQL and PostGIS databases
- Applying security patches (CVEs) and debugging security policy lockdowns
- Applying Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS) for Windows and Linux systems
- Linux shell scripting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ArcGIS Server & ArcGIS Pro
- Experience with NGINX Istio Kafka Keycloak Splunk

Pay Range:
Pay Range $72150.00 - $130425.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
