Job Description
What is the opportunity
You will provide strategic leadership of the Global Credit Ratings & Monitoring team which provides credit management and analytic support for RBCs Capital Markets lending business.
R&M is a key functional partner to Corporate Banking and GRM Wholesale Credit serving as a primary point of ratings contact for ratings actions providing effective risk assessment credit analysis and continuous monitoring of assigned portfolios. Responsibilities include providing credit opinions and in-depth analysis via Risk Assessment Frameworks (RAFs) analyzing significant credit events via interim reviews and credit comments providing pro forma ratings evaluations as needed ongoing monitoring of company/sector performance and covenant breaches and early detection of high-risk accounts and deteriorating credit situations.
