We are currently sourcing for a Scrum Master to support the Performance Measurement and Analysis (PMA) Producer squad within Fidelitys Financial Institutional Group.
As a Scrum Master you blend deep scrum expertise with a passion for mentoring and coaching and constant improvement. As part of a highly collaborative squad you will advise mentor coach and train on performance against agile values practices and processes to accelerate squad value delivery. In partnership with the squad leader you will maintain a backlog help to remove impediments and facilitate agile ceremonies such as the daily stand up sprint planning backlog refinement and retrospectives. You will have responsibility for release management coordination and participate in scaling ceremonies and activities as you manage interdependencies across squads and product areas. You will examine and drive team performance through metrics and find opportunities for the squad to fully realize the benefits of working in an agile structure. By demonstrating and promoting Fidelity and agile leadership behaviors you will evolve and sustain an innovative agile culture with an emphasis on value delivery and high performing teams.
Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) credential (or similar Scrum credential) with 5-7 years of Scrum Master experience operating as a leader who serves teams and can effectively lead scaling practices across partnering teams and domain in a scrum framework.
Proven change agent capable of coaching agile practices to teams and individuals from across different functions experiences and geographies as they work through new and unfamiliar situations.
Technology and Financial background preferred.
Experience and familiarity using tools including Jira Jira Align Miro (or similar) Confluence CMT Sharepoint Flow Metrics PowerBI Microsoft Office Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
Intellectual curiosity passion for developing skills modeling a culture of continuous learning mentoring and coaching.
Excellent communication and people skills to rapidly build trust and positively influence others at all levels of the organization.
Transparent leader and delivery champion who can illustrate progress with goals and outcome realization pursuant to strategic initiatives.
Effective proven facilitator able to brainstorm and generate solutions to overcome obstacles and innovate for accelerating value delivery.
Advanced experience with dependency management logistical coordination and process fulfillment.

The FI PMA Producer squad is within the Performance Measurement and Analysis (PMA) product area and FI Wealth Management Technology domain. PMA was formed in 2015 and is the first in house performance engine. There are 6 squads within the product area. The Scrum Master for this position will be responsible for 1 squad the PMA Producers.
The PMAProducer squad develops and maintains core and common performance databases and capabilities for the enterprise. They clean calculate and collect data sourced from Morningstar data lakes etc. and store in Snowflake and Oracle tables for use across Fidelitys enterprise platforms such as Wealthscape and others. More specifically the team led by Sunil Sharma is responsible for the calculation and daily posting of investment returns including pre-tax and after tax (time weighted & money weighted) as well as risk metrics asset class sleeve position and composite level calculations. The Producer squad publishes daily monthly and standard period returns and analytics distributed to partners throughout the Enterprise including PI Wealth and Brokerage IWMS FILI Plynk business lines and services >40 million accounts on PMA platform.
Technology includes heavy DB large data handling Snowflake Java AWS. No mainframe.
Through your leadership you will empower a team of technologists to improve delivery. You will support a cross-functional squad engaging with all team members Scrum Masters Chapter Leaders business stakeholders and the Squad Leader. You will take the initiative on innovative problem solving dependency management and release planning.

We also value the benefits that working offsite offers associates. Most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite every other week (all business days M-F) in a Fidelity office.
