As the need for our services grows and becomes increasingly complex Catholic Charities is working to adapt and respond. We respond in three ways preventing poverty meeting basic needs in times of crisis and creating pathways out of poverty.

WAGE RANGE:$66000-$77000/annually

SCHEDULE:Monday - Friday 8:00a - 5:00pm

LOCATION:215 Old 6th Street Saint Paul MN 55102 (ineligible for hybrid schedule)

JOB SUMMARY: Catholic Charities is seeking a self-motivated individual who is dedicated and detail-orientated compassionate trauma-informed and culturally aware to serve as a Senior Property Manager at its Evergreen location.

The Sr. Property Manager will provide leadership to the property management staff ensuring the assigned campus is fiscally sound and the communities are well managed and maintained.

They will run the program within the mission vision values budget and strategic plan of the program and Catholic Charities and ensure a positive and welcoming environment for the clients of the properties managed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Responsible for the day-to-day property management activities of all properties in the portfolio and operations of the program within the mission vision values budget and strategic plan of the program and Catholic Charities.
  2. Ensure that residents are appropriately served in a positive welcoming environment.
  3. Lead and guide customer service strategies in a culturally responsive manner ensuring consideration for differing needs and expectations of residents staffs vendors community members etc...
  4. Lead motivate and direct property management staff through ongoing training mentoring and working through performance matters in an effective and timely manner
  5. Support the development of annual operating budgets for assigned properties
  6. Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the property by working with facilities and supervising contractors
  7. Responsible for meeting occupancy targets and ensuring that all units are leased in compliance with all regulatory agreements
  8. Responsible for funding and investor requirements and timely reporting to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
  9. Provides direction/advisement on all resident issues.
  10. Maintains a professional relationship with community partners and all departments within the organization.
  11. Establish and implement an effective communication system among property managers property management staff and supportive services and act as liaison between property managers and the Director.
  12. Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Five (5) years property management experience preferred.
  • Bachelors Degree in a human services or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years experience in medium volume residential housing; affordable housing experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of issues facing long term homeless individuals required.
  • Previous management and supervisory experience required.
  • Two (2) years experience with Affordable Housing Programs (Section 8; Tax Credit; GRH) required; Yardi experience preferred.
  • Ability to work with diverse and/or low-income populations including those who may be experiencing homelessness unstable housing and/or mental illness required.
