The Division of Employee and Labor Relations is seeking a motivated intern for the upcoming summer term. This flexible internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical hands-on experience in administrative support within a human resource setting. The intern will work closely with the Management Team and under the direct supervision of the Director of Employee and Labor Relations. Responsibilities will include assisting with the processing of grievances managing union-related requests and coordinating both in-house and interagency meetings.
This position is ideal for students or recent graduates interested in state policies and regulations and pursuing a career in employee and labor relations or a related human resources field.
About the Internship:
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
1.Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degreein Human Resources or Business Administration
2. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word ExcelOutlook etc.)
3. Organized detail-oriented able to multi-task and workindependently
4. Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment
