Summary Statement

The ERP Application Administrator is responsible for participating in the maintenance and administrations of the ERP application and ancillary programs and applications (e.g. PeopleSoft Application and Tools Change Management tool SFTP). The incumbent will be required to work with various technical resources including database administrators local area network administrators and ERP developers.

Candidate will be responsible for the routine application and tracking of software upgrades and fixes. Candidate will also execute and monitor the migration of objects between various database environments.

The ERP Application Administrator reports to the ERP Technical Administrator.

Selective Requirement

Selective Requirements must be met in addition to the job requirements. Applicants who do not possess the selective requirement will not be qualified.

  • Applicant must possess a high school diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualification

Applicants who do not possess the preferred qualification will still be eligible to compete for this position if job requirements are met.

  • Possession of a bachelors degree is preferred with emphasis in Computer Science Information Technology Telecommunications Networks Security I/T Discipline or a related field.

Job Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS for ERP Application Administrator

Applicants must have education training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:

  • Possess technical experience to demonstrate knowledge of ERP product administration knowledge and understanding of complex technical problems.
  • Possess minimum three years experience on medium to large-scale system implementations.
  • Possess knowledge in ERP administration security and software tools such as version control and migration software.
  • Possess thorough working knowledge of information systems particularly the integrated nature of ERP applications.


Conditions of Hire
