ISS-Stoxx is seeking a strategic and customer-focused Head of APAC Recruitment to lead our talent acquisition efforts across the Asia-Pacific region. Based in our Mumbai office this high-impact role will partner closely with business leaders HR teams and global recruitment counterparts to drive full-cycle hiring strategies and ensure a consistent high-quality recruitment experience across all 6 APAC country locations.

About the Role

As the Head of APAC Recruitment will lead a team of 20 recruitment and onboarding professionals across Mumbai and Manila overseeing full-cycle recruitment operations and aligning regional practices with global standards. This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking operational excellence and stakeholder partnership. This is a high-visibility leadership role within a collaborative fast-paced and high-performing team.


You will draw on your deep expertise in talent acquisition and business partnership to deliver exceptional hiring outcomes. Your ability to build strong relationships think strategically and lead with integrity will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment operations across all APAC locations.
  • Develop and execute strategic hiring plans aligned with workforce planning and business goals.
  • Manage and mentor recruitment and onboarding teams to ensure timely high-quality delivery.
  • Partner with HR business leaders and hiring managers to align recruitment strategies with organizational needs.
  • Build and maintain robust talent pipelines through direct sourcing and proactive outreach
  • Apply deep knowledge of compensation structures to support offer negotiations and ensure market competitiveness within 6 APAC country includesunderstanding salary structures ability to research and analyze compensation data for specific roles and geographical locations and ensuring compliance with compensation regulations.
  • Manage recruitment agency relationships including contract negotiation and performance reviews.
  • Deliver training and guidance to hiring managers to enhance recruitment capabilities.
  • Plan and execute employer branding initiatives career events and targeted recruitment campaigns.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics budgets and documentation to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure a consistent and engaging candidate experience across all touchpoints.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources Business Psychology or a related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of recruitment experience including 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven success in recruiting within Financial Services or IT sectors.
  • Strong understanding of regional recruitment practices especially in India.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (e.g. Workday) is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume and technical hiring in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations and explain complex compensation packages.
  • Experience managing recruitment agency contracts and vendor performance.
  • Ability to provide market insights and compensation strategies to support hiring decisions.
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality recruitment services and an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills in a global team environment.
  • Familiarity with onboarding processes is a plus.
