About the role

The Assistant Branch Coordinator supports the budget process financial performance reporting and efficient day to day operations of the branch through reporting and data analysis utilising diverse management information systems. The role is suited to a highly organised administrator keen to play an integral role in the smooth running of our Branch. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative team and offers a variety of responsibilities. As for all Branch roles there is a clear expectation that candidates can demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their field day to day professionalism and are a good fit for our Branch One Team culture.

This pivotal role will see you providing high-level administrative and business support to the Senior Business Officer Director project officers and 5 Managers to ensure the day to day functions of the business are carried out effectively. This varied and interesting role will involve coordinating ministerial correspondence office administration financial analysis report writing and reviewing a range of safety and compliance related documents and policies.

About you

Wed love to hear from you if youre a natural trouble-shooter thrive in a busy work environment and are comfortable providing business support to a wide stakeholder group across differing levels of seniority. Ideally youll be a true collaborator and have demonstrated experience across of wide range of business operations including project management financial management business planning HR and corporate functions. To be successful in the role you will also be able to:

  • Be adaptable and flexible to manage competing priorities in a demanding and complex work environment
  • Effectively communicate (both written and verbal) and work with a wide group of internal and external stakeholders over a large geographical dispersed area.
  • Display a high level of discretion diplomacy and judgement
  • Work autonomously as well as within a cohesive team.

Key Knowledge and experience

  • Experience in the provision of administrative financial purchasing accounting and other related support services with the capacity to research and analyse data to contribute to the development implementation and maintenance of appropriate support systems and procedures.
  • Experience interpreting and applying relevant legislation and regulations and a broad knowledge of administration human resource and accounting processes.
