CBGU JV is working on Queenslands largest infrastructure project and were building our team for the future. South East Queensland is about to embark on a period of sustained growth in the lead up to the 2032 Olympics and we are thrilled to be involved in developing Cross River Rail which will forever change the way Queenslanders travel.
CBGU JV brings together CPB Contractors BAM Ghella and UGL to deliver the Tunnel and Station Package for Brisbanes Cross River Rail the 10.2 kilometre rail line between Dutton Park and Bowen Hills including 5.9 kilometres of tunnel under the Brisbane River and CBD. The project also includes construction of four new underground stations at Roma Street Albert Street Boggo Road and Woolloongabba.

One project team building career opportunities for you.
You will be responsible for:
- Test and Commission the following systems to ensure they are delivered on time and to budget:
- Station 11 kV High Voltage Installations
- Station and tunnel earthing and bonding
- Station low voltage Installations
- Act as the HV Authority for the project to ensure HV processess and procedures are maintained and regularly audited for compliance
- Experience in setting to Work and Dynamic Testing of a new underground railway system
- Able to prepare Management Plans Sub-plans and Test Scripts
- Ensure the appropriate standards processes procedures and work instructions are applied throughout the test and commissioning engineering life cycle.
Minimum requirements for this role include the following:
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering and;
- Minimum 5 years relevant testing and commissioning experience and;
- Registered as a practicing RPEQ engineer
- Post graduate qualifications in high voltage installations and management desirable
