The Job in a Nutshell
As the Purchasing Controller youll play a critical role in managing purchasing and imports. Your responsibilities will include:
Raising and placing orders as per the agreed purchasing schedule.
Expediting shipments and handling sales order backlog management.
Communicating vendor backlog dates and managing imports for short shipments and damages.
Setting up logistics for new vendors and managing freight from origin to warehouse or customer location.
Generating timely reports and managing rotations to maximize rebates.
Maintaining system data for part numbers backlog dates and contracts.
Collaborating with vendors and teams to finalize rotations and manage contracts.
Your contributions will directly impact our mission to help businesses run better grow faster and achieve their sustainability goals.
Experiences Skills and Expectations
We are looking for candidates with:
A bachelors degree in purchasing supply chain or related field.
1 to 3 years of experience in a purchasing role.
Fluency in English language..
Preferred:
Experience in logistics and inventory management.
Proficiency in generating reports and managing system data.
Ability to collaborate effectively with vendors and teams.
