We are looking for a highly skilled Instrumental Music Instructor who is passionate about improving life chances for all through a professional commitment to making a difference for all of our children and young people so that they achieve their full an Instrumental Music Instructor in Fife you will be responsible for leading learning within your Instrumental Music lesson context promoting inclusion diversity and equality communicating with other stakeholders. This is a supply post where candidates will be asked to work as and when required. We require supply instructors in the following disciplines: Brass; Woodwind. When working on a supply basis you will be paid on the SNCT Music Instructor Salary Scale35190.00 to 46773.00per year pro rata (as required). Please note as this is a supply post payment will only be received when working.
The Person
You are required to be educated to SCQF Level 9 or equivalent in Music.
You are required to have high levels of interpersonal skills and abilities which will enable you to work as a member of a team to ensure positive outcomes for allchildren and young people in your setting.
You are required to demonstrate a commitment to your own professional learning as a practitioner through career-long professional learning activity and to be ableto show how this has impacted on your practice.
Before confirming your appointment you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland andbecome a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
Instrumental Music Instructors are not required to be fully registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) but should model all behaviour expected of a teacher in Scotland in linewith the relevant Professional Standards.
