The Manufacturing Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the Fabrication and Mechanical Assembly departments of the Erlanger Service Center to ensure reliability and consistency while creating a safe work environment. The position is accountable for the quality of both individual and teams work. This role will operate within a variable atmosphere requiring strong communication between direct reports and other facility stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline.
  • Understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Recognition of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the facility.
  • Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
  • Collaborates with others to solve issues. Exchanges technical information asks questions and checks for understanding.
  • Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
  • Proven interpersonal skills with ability to hire and develop talent. Provides informal guidance to new team members.
  • Focus efforts on delivering products and services to satisfy customer needs

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college.
  • 1 years of manufacturing experience.

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Ability to document plan market and execute programs.
  • Established project management skills.

The salary range for this position is $67200 to $84000 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience their education and the work location. In addition this position is eligible for a 5% performance bonus.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110% 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
