Job Description
Position: Tailor
Location: Belgrade Serbia
Employment type: Full-time
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform clothing alterations and repairs including size adjustments hemming and mending to ensure proper fit and garment longevity.
- Maintain quality and durability standards by adhering to company guidelines and workmanship expectations.
- Operate and maintain sewing machines irons and other tailoring equipment reporting any malfunctions as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels of tailoring supplies and materials and notify supervisors of any shortages.
- Maintain accurate records of garment assignments alterations performed and completed tasks.
- Keep the work area clean well-organized and compliant with health and safety standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong proficiency in English (at least B2) in both written and spoken communication.
- Prior experience in tailoring garment alteration or a related field with proven skills in clothing modification and repair.
- Proficiency in using sewing machines irons and other tailoring tools along with a basic understanding of fabric types and garment construction.
- High attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills to understand alteration needs and collaborate with team members or clients.
- Ability to manage material inventory and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Minimum of a high school education or equivalent.
